What is Popeye?

Popeye turns market questions into on-chain markets: create, trade, and discover outcomes across stocks and crypto with transparent settlement. Popeye is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Robinhood Markets, Inc.

Markets are not live yet. This site currently shows real Robinhood Chain data and a question-drafting preview; nothing you see under “Markets” is a live market. Rules for trading, fees and settlement will be published here when markets launch.

Robinhood Chain

Chain ID 4663, RPC https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com, explorer robinhoodchain.blockscout.com. You need a small amount of ETH on the chain for gas.

Where the live data comes from

  • Blocks and gas — read straight from the chain RPC every few seconds.
  • Chain TVL — DefiLlama’s Robinhood Chain series.
  • Assets and pairs — DexScreener search results filtered to Robinhood Chain. DexScreener has no “list every pair” call, so this is a best-effort set, not a complete index.
  • Sparklines — drawn from DexScreener’s reported 5m / 1h / 6h / 24h price changes, not from tick history.

If a source fails, the page says so and keeps the last good values. It never fills in invented numbers.

Contract address

The contract address is shown in the bar at the very top of every page once it has been officially stated. Until then the slot stays inert and reads “Not announced yet”. Only trust an address shown there or on the official social accounts, once those are announced.

Privacy

No accounts and no analytics. Your watchlist is stored only in your browser’s local storage. Your browser makes requests to the Robinhood Chain RPC, DefiLlama, DexScreener and Google Fonts to load data and typefaces, and those services see your IP address as any website you visit would.
